Athens United Soccer Association

About AUSA

AUSA is a non profit soccer only organization that does not run on tax dollars, but yet from fees for registrations, concessions, tournaments and donations. We have been around for 30 years and have recreational teams as well as Academy and Select teams.
We currently host two soccer tournaments a year in Athens which host up to 100 teams from all over Georgia and including teams from neighboring states as well.

At Athens United, our goal is:

To teach the game of soccer to anyone wishing to participate.
To coach the child, not just the soccer player.
To provide a safe and enjoyable activity for the seasoned competitive player.
To provide an appropriate level of play for all players, from beginners to advanced.
To educate the Athens/Clarke, Oconee, and surrounding communities about soccer.
